Pattern for Success

Websites are very special to the person or company purchasing them. What is involved in the Website process?

There are several types of expenses involved in websites:

  • DNS (Domain Name Service)
  • Website Hosting
  • Website Maintenance
  • Website Development

DNS is an annual expense paid to the service that maintains the name information.

Website Hosting is paid to the hosting location normally a company that has multiple connections to the internet and provides access to your site 24x7 (24 hours per day, 7 days per week).

Website Maintenance performed by either a company tech person or a specialist who understands HTML, CSS and other web languages to keep the website online and up to date.

Website Development. The art of designing the website, putting together the layout, and coding it so it works putting out the desired message 24x7.

Different companies package these differently but all are required to have a vibrant website.
